Messages & Tones

A VIGIL Voice Alarm system includes pre-recorded and stored digital messages and tones. On a voice alarm system there is at least one emergency broadcast, such as an instruction to evacuate the building. Typically, however, multiple pre-recorded emergency and non-emergency messages are required, such as ‘System Test’ for example.

The tones are typically used to draw attention to a message broadcast and are, therefore, added to the beginning of the recorded message. Alternatively, they can be used as ‘end of class’ type notifications.

Below is a selection of sample messages that are available for our Voice Alarm systems. In addition to this type of typical message, we offer a bespoke message recording service as an option for any VIGIL or Eclipse system – just let us know. These can be anything that a user requires, such as staff reminders, closing times, or even annual events such as two minutes silence for Remembrance.

With a VIGIL3 Voice Alarm or an Eclipse5 system up to 254 pre-recorded, selectable messages can be included, enabling complete flexibility for the user.
